Prescott, Ark. —
Coy D. Tims, age 83, of Bismarck, formerly of Arkadelphia, went to be with the Lord Monday, May 23, 2011.
He was born June 28, 1927, at Bismarck, the son of Harrison and Martha Kinard Tims. He was retired from Reynolds Metals, a home builder and a Methodist.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Marvin Tims; and a sister, Betty Jo Tims.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Thornton Tims; three daughters, Delores Turner and husband Jerry of Rockwall, Texas, Brenda Hasley and husband Ricky of Arkadelphia, and Rebecca Spradlin and husband Larry of Bismarck; one sister, Jean Thornton and husband Leon of Bismarck; six grandchildren, Jeremy Turner, Sharlee Purdom, Jason Turner, Chad Spradlin, Ann Tracy and Coy Hasley; and four great grandchildren, Alex Spradlin, Taylor Hasley, Trevor Tracy and and Brooks Purdom.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Chapel with burial in the Hickory Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday in the Ruggles-Wilcox Funeral Home in Arkadelphia.
