Ashley Fite and Amber Garrett made it to Fayetteville to play in the All-Star Softball game. Fite, of Glen Rose, was playing for the East Team, while Garrett, of Ouachita High, was on the West Team.

The two friends played against each other on LadyBacks Field.

Both said that the experience was an  “amazing time that they will never forget.”

The East Team won both games by one run.

“We both just want to thank everyone and the coaches who nominated us,” Fite said.

“Thank you,” Garrett said, “to the Locksburg coach and to my coach at Ouachita High, Blue Boye Kesterson. It was a great honor to be able to play here.”
