It’s that time of year again, and this time, Arkadelphia is ready to again host the Power 92 Jammers during the annual basketball fundraiser held at Arkadelphia High School.
The Jammers are a charity basketball team that travels the state to help raise money for local charities.
Saturday, the team will be taking the floor against the Party Ballers, a local team consisting of athletes who are no longer playing basketball in high school or college.
“This is going to be a big night,” said Arkadelphia Badgers head coach Donald Williams. “They are going to have some good competition.”
Williams said that the game will be broadcast on the radio station (92.3 FM).
“This usually draws a big crowd,” Williams said. “This is really a good fundraiser for us.”
In addition to the game, the Arkadelphia Dazzler Dance Team will be performing at halftime.
”We really want everyone to come out and support us,” Williams said.
Tip-off for the game is at 7 p.m. Admission is $5.
