BISMARCK - It didn’t take long for the Bismarck Lady Lions to show their they were ready offensively to get on the softball field.
Last Friday, the Lady Lions shut out the Mountain Pine Lady Red Devils 25-0 in three innings. All of the Bismarck players in the lineup scored one or more runs in the game.
Kyndall Willis led off the bottom of the first with single, Skylar Loy walked, Delilah Johnson walked, Jordan Lancaster singled and Mckenzie Efird tripled to clear the bases. Still with no outs, Cassidy Mueller doubled and Keyton Goza followed with a double. With one out, Bianca Pettus singled, Willis got her second base hit of the inning and Loy was hit by a pitch. Johnson singled and Lancaster got a base hit. Efird walked and with two outs, Goza doubled before the last out came. Bismarck led 12-0 after one inning of play.
After sitting down the Lady Red Devils in order for the second time, Pettus led off the bottom of the second with a walk, Willis walked and Loy was hit by a pitch again to load the bases. Johnson singled in a run for the second time and Lancaster walked to reload the bases.
With one out, Mueller hit her second double of the game to score two more runs. With two outs, Mckenzie Wesson walked and Pettus hit a run-scoring single. Willis walked again and Loy singled in a run. Johnson walked and Lancaster singled in another run. Efird singled a run and Mueller cleared the bases with a double. Goza singled and Wesson singled to load the bases, but Mueller was out at home on fielder’s choice.
Bismarck led 25-0 after the second inning.
Mountain Pine went down in order in the top of the third to end the game.

Haskell Harmony Grove 15, Bismarck 0
HASKELL - On Tuesday afternoon, it was a different story in the blended conference opener at Haskell Harmony Grove for the Bismarck Lady Lions.
The Lady Cardinals were coming off a 2-1 win over the Bryant Lady Hornets and shut out the Lady Lions in the top of the first inning.
The pitching of Harmony Grove’s Grace Bryant allowed on two hits to Bismarck and struck out five Lady Lions. The Lady Cardinals scored seven runs in the bottom of the first inning. Rachel Kesterson had two home runs in the contest.
Madison Mickle, Abbie Davis and Brooke Rouse also homered for Harmony Grove in the game. The Lady Lions were shut out in the second inning and the Lady Cardinals put up six more runs to lead 13-0.
Baylee Rowton kept her hitting streak going for the Lady Cardinals in the bottom of the fourth inning when they scored two more runs to go up 15-0 and enforce the run-rule after three innings.
