To the Editor:
I have some questions about the merger. I am a business owner in Caddo Valley, but do not live in the Caddo Valley city limits, I live in the county. This merger will affect me even though I cannot vote.
My question is what can Arkadelphia offer the citizens and businesses of Caddo Valley? We already have a good water system, very good sewer system, and the best fire department and police department. Will Arkadelphia patrol our business and homes regularly, 24/7, or at their convenience? If Caddo Valley is so important, why do we not have a bank? I see what we have to offer Arkadelphia. What has Arkadelphia got to offer us?
