To the Editor:

Thanks goes out to all the churches and church leaders in helping plan, conduct and support last week's Holy Week services. Speakers and musicians from across Arkadelphia lead a 30 minute worship service that was attended by about 100 people every day. The Apostle Paul wrote "Make every effort to keep yourselves united in the Spirit, binding yourselves together with peace."

Thanks to Dr. Lee McGlone, the staff and volunteers of First Baptist Church for opening their doors to host this annual event. Thanks to all the churches that helped provide food for the lunch that followed each service. Thanks to each person that gave up some of their day to be part of these services. Also, thanks to those that gave of their finances. Your gift will assist the Pastor's Fellowship in helping those in need in our community and those traveling through.

We have a great community of Faith. While religions in the world fight among themselves and each other, it speaks well of our community to see such a successful event take place.  Our shared effort is helping build God's Kingdom. A house divided will fall, but together we will continue to stand strong.
