Bobby Charles Thompson, 69, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday, Jan. 25, 2010, at his home. He was born Dec. 31, 1940, in Joan, the son of the late Henry Melvin and Daisy Florence Posey Thompson. Bobby worked for Western Auto for over 20 years and was employed by the Clark County Road Department for over 17 years.  He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Floyd Thompson.
Bobby is survived by one sister, Betty Wilks of Arkadelphia; four brothers, Frank, Larry and Donnie Thompson all of Arkadelphia, and Bill Thompson of West Palm Beach, Fla.
Pallbearers are James Riley, Alex Ross, Benny Fite, Willie Green, Randy Grier and Frank Ross.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2010, at Welch Funeral Home with EB Green officiating. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Interment will be in Macedonia Cemetery.
