David Steven Ollison, 59, of Chickasha, Okla., died Friday, March 7, 2010, in Oklahoma.
He was born Jan. 16, 1951, in Gurdon, son of Dorothy Wilson and Albert Ollison Jr.
He attended Bell High School. He was a former employee of Anthony Lumber Company in Malvern.
Those left to celebrate his life are his wife, Teresa Marie Blondin Ollison; his daughter, Latisha Ollison of Arkadelphia; three brothers, Charles Ollison of Gurdon, Clifton Ollison of Prescott and Matthew Ollison of Pine Bluff; three sisters, Rebecca Ollison of Cedar Hill, Texas; Rose Mary Wright of Gurdon and Lisa Martin of Tucson, Arizona.
Mr. Ollison will lie state on Tuesday, March 9, 2 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the funeral home. The family will receive friends 6 - 7 p.m.
The final farewell and celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, March 10, at 2 p.m. in the sanctuary of Mt. Canaan Baptist Church, where Rev. Johnny C. Harris is the pastor and will deliver the celebration message.
The committal service and final resting place will be in Rose Hedge Cemetery. Services provided by Williams Funeral Home, Inc.
Bearers of the casket will be Michael Alexander, Robert Alexander, Earnest Brigance, Albert Dickens, Howard Dixon, Chester Paige and Odell Powell.
