Meda M. Rideout, 56, of Gurdon, died Monday, March 1, 2010, in St. Joseph Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs. She was born Jan. 21, 1954, in Torrence, Cali., the daughter of Melin Melton and Margorie Hurst Powers.
She was a Truck Driver for Bill Hines Trucking Company.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Lee Roy Powers, April Powers, Robert Wooldridge and David Wooldridge, all of Gurdon, and Jeanie Conrad of Clio, Mich.; her mother Marjorie Powers; two sisters, Johanna Fencler of Arkadelphia, Betty Daniels of Fontana, Cali.; one brother Leo Melton of Salt Lake City, Vt.; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 4 at 10:30 a.m. Missionary Grove Baptist Church in Prescott. The Rev. Charles Thornton will preach a message of hope and comfort.
