Lois Patrice Conerly, 79, died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, in St. Joseph Mercy Health Center in Hot Springs. She was born July 28, 1930, in Arkadelphia (Happy Hill Community), daughter of Maggie Brim Williams and Eli Summerville. She was raised by the Rev. James and Mrs. Lucy Brownlee.
She was a member of Gennesaret Missionary Baptist Church.
She retired from the Presidents First Lady Health Spa of Dallas, Texas, after 30 years of service.
She and her husband, Lawrence Conerly, operated “MOMS KITCHEN” in Dallas for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Leroy Brownlee of Little Rock; Herbert Allison of Arkadelphia; James Willis Grandy, Eula Grant, Ronnie Keith Brownlee, Ricky Conerly, Freddie Conerly, Genetta Conerly, Raymond Conerly, and Morocco Conerly, all of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Eddie Lee Summerville of Arkadelphia and two sisters: Geneva Fluwellen of Beaumont, Texas, and Mattie Sue Butler of Lansing, Mich.; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Ms. Conerly will lie in state in the funeral home Wednesday, March 3, 2010, noon until 7 p.m. with family hour 6-7 p.m.
The Service of Celebration will be held on Thursday, March 4, at 11 a.m. in Gennesaret Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. Frederick Smith is the pastor and the Rev. Charles D. Hood will preach a message of hope and comfort.
The committal and final resting place will be in Piney Grove Cemetery.

The bearers of the casket will the Arabian Knights Society.
The honorary bearers of the casket will be Levi Garland, George Grandy, Floyd Newborn, Charles Page and Art Tippin.
