The Humane Society needs foster homes for dogs and cats. Anyone interested in providing a temporary home may call the shelter. Volunteers are also needed on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, for as little as an hour, to transport the animals, help with feeding and cleaning, to exercise or socialize animals, or take on visits to nursing homes. A program is also available to adopt a pet for a day or a weekend.
Funds are always needed to operate the shelter and provide food and veterinary care; also welcomed are cleaning supplies, bedding, etc.
