Cujo is a male terrier mix, brown and white short hair, shy.

The Humane Society of Clark County has lots of dogs, cats, kittens and puppies ready for adoption. All animals have been spayed or neutered and are healthy. The shelter is full and needs to find good homes for the animals as quickly as possible.

Rascal, a 1-year-old male beagle-terrier mix. House and leash trained, very playful.

Cupcake, 10-month-old medium-sized tan-and-white mix breed, very sweet.

Hot Rod, 1-year-old male, yellow Lab mix. Gentle and friendly.

Elmo, 10-month-old male mix breed, medium size, black with white chin and paws, playful;

Emma, 10-month-old female mixed breed, short black hair, sweet and loving;

Dorrie, 10-month-old small female terrier/beagle mix, very cute and affectionate;

Daisy, 9-month-old small tan female mixed breed with bobtail, house- and leash-trained, extremely sweet;

Jet, 1-year-old, medium-size blue heeler, very well-mannered, loves to play, loves everybody;

Dusty, 1-year-old male short hair mixed breed, lively and friendly;

Bianca, 4-month-old female mix breed, brown, sweet and loving, medium size;

Lana, 4-month-old female, beautiful chocolate with white paws and chest;

The Humane Society needs foster homes for dogs and cats. Anyone interested in providing a temporary home may call the shelter.

Volunteers are also needed on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, for as little as an hour, to transport the animals, help with feeding and cleaning, to exercise or socialize animals, or take on visits to nursing homes.

A program is also available to adopt a pet for a day or a weekend.

Funds are always needed to operate the shelter and provide food and veterinary care; also welcomed are cleaning supplies, bedding, etc.
