Those who use Feaster Trail in the early morning and late evening hours are urged to use caution while walking because a portion of the walkway will be dark, said the Arkadelphia Parks and Recreation Department on Wednesday.
Steve Huddleston, activities coordinator at the recreation center, said lights are out on the trail between 15th and 26th streets.
Another source at the center said the department noticed the lights were out Monday.
Huddleston said Entergy has been notified of the problem and, it should be corrected by the end of the week.
“Buddy up in the dark hours,” Mike Volz, interim director of the department, warned walkers.
Volz said he expects to get an answer from Entergy today about the problem, but expects it is an underground line problem.
Any suspicious activity on the trail should be reported to the Arkadelphia Police Department at 246-4545.
