Gurdon man killed in Florida

TAMPA BAY, Fla. — A former Gurdon resident was killed in a shooting last week in the Gulf Coast City of 303,000 people, and police said that they have a suspect in custody this morning after he turned himself in.
Juan Carlos Cruz has been arrested on charges of shooting and killing 29-year-old Enrique Trevino last week, according to a media spokesperson at the Hillsborough Sherrif’s Office.
