Arkansas State Police investigate a one-vehicle accident that occurred this morning at about 9 a.m. on Highway 67 near the Clark-Hot Spring county line. Caddo Valley and State Highway police worked with state troopers to control traffic, which was directed onto the west shoulder of the highway, as the road was blocked. The driver of the 18-wheeler, which was hauling a load of logs, was not injured. There were no passengers in the Mack truck. Caddo Valley Police Chief David Thomason said the driver lost control of the 18-wheeler while traveling south, turning the vehicle on its side and scattering logs into the east ditch. The truck belonged to the Amity-based Joel Davidson Logging Co.
