The filing for Clark County Republican Party candidates begins at noon March 1 and ends at noon on March 8. Contact Mark Hodnett, chairman, or Shelly Clark, secretary, of the Clark County Republican Committee at 870-403-7230 or 870-403-1887 for filing as a Republican candidate for these offices. The Preferential Primary and Non-Partisan Judicial Election is May 18.
Candidates must furnish written evidence of payment of all party filing fees and of the filing of all party pledges to the county clerk before noon Monday, March 8. On Monday, March 1, the election commission office will be open from noon to 4:30 p.m. for filing. A member of the Republican County Committee will be present to accept filing fees and they will have forms.
The office for filing will be located at 16 Hackberry, Arkadelphia. The hours will be posted or you may contact the county chairman or secretary at the above phone number or you can contact the county clerk’s office at 870-246-4491.
On Monday, March 8, filing fees will be accepted from 9 a.m.-noon at the election commission office.
