The Arkadelphia Area Chamber of Commerce Board has awarded the Arkadelphia Rotary Club its Community Beautification Award.

The Arkadelphia Area Chamber of Commerce Board has awarded the Arkadelphia Rotary Club its Community Beautification Award.
The board is recognizing businesses or organizations quarterly that have improved the overall look of the community.
“The Arkadelphia Rotary Club maintains the beautiful flower bed as you exit off of I-30 east bound entering Arkadelphia directly across from The Dixon Exxon Family Store. The City of Arkadelphia installed a sprinkler system a few years ago, so this is a true public-private partnership to help beautification efforts in one of the main entry points of Arkadelphia. Maintaining a flower bed takes a lot of hard work and time and we are proud to give this award to the Rotary Club for the start of 2018,” said Arkadelphia Area Chamber of Commerce Board President Jeremy Hughes.
The Club created the flower bed with the assistance of Matt Williams of Ouachita Nursery. Dr. Wesley Kluck coordinates the type of flowers and Rotarians, Rotaract students and Tiger Serve Day volunteers maintain the area.
