Be Anxious For Nothing
Jesus specifically told His followers not to worry about food or clothes because He would make provisions for them (Matthew 6:25-34). This promise also applies to all other areas of our lives, including worrying and anxiety.
However, we can always find reasons to worry about something—health, family, the loss of a loved one, the loss of employment, and even financial setbacks. Worry and anxiety is a common stressor for many of us, even to the point we’re losing sleep, not eating, or perhaps eating too much and for the most part we’re wasting away precious moments of our lives.
My friend, why are you stressing?
Why are you worrying about something that God has already promised to take care of ?
Worrying is simply an implication that you do not trust Him. It will not add a single minute to your life and it has been proven to be unhealthy.
How many times have you heard, “I’ve worried myself sick?” Well, God never meant for anyone to worry themselves sick. He simply instructs us to pray when we are faced with various trials. So let God handle what you cannot; then you may enjoy His wonderful blessings. Peace, joy, contentment and rest.
"Don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. If you do this, you will experience His peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus"(Philippians 4:6–7). “A peaceful heart lead to a healthy body”(Proverbs 14:30).
