The third annual Arktoberfest will be held this weekend in Downtown Arkadelphia.

The third annual Arktoberfest will be held this weekend in Downtown Arkadelphia.
The day-long event will feature multiple events from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m. Saturday.
A car show will be featured from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. The cost is $20 for cars and trucks.
The class divisions include vehicles dating up to 1949, then the 50s, 60s, 1970-1989, 1990-2010 and 2011-present. Cash prizes will be given to the winners.
From 2 - 5 p.m., there will be a Show and Shine Motorcycle Show at Seventh and Caddo Streets for those wanting to display their bikes. There is no entry fee for this show. Trophies will be given to first, second and third place winners based on a People’s Choice judging system.
Arkansas craft beers and wines will be available for sampling with a $20 ticket. The price gets buyers a souvenir sampling mug and velvet pouch with 15 tokens. The tokens are redeemable for samples of beer, wine and sprights, if they are available.
There will also be a bouncy obstacle course, games, vendors, food trucks and treats from Slim and Shorty’s, including “Scareoke” and a Costume Contest, which will be from 9 p.m. until midnight Saturday. The haunted alley will also be featured with music provided by Logan Lind and The Big Dam Horns.
Admission to the event, along with parking is free. In addition, free shuttles will be available for attendees who will be lodging in hotels in Caddo Valley.
