The Arkadelphia City Board of Directors will meet Thursday evening in regular session.
With Independence Day falling on Tuesday, directors voted to change their regular meeting day from Tuesday, July 4 to Thursday, July 6.
On the agenda:
• Directors will consider a recommendation to appoint an acting city clerk.
• The board will have the third reading of an ordinance that will remove rooming and boarding houses from the city’s R-2 Zoning District.
• Directors will entertain a recommendation to reappoint individuals to the Arkadelphia Parks and Recreation Advisory Committee.
• The board will consider the purchase of a truck to replace a city sanitation truck that was recently totaled.
• Arkadelphia City Manager Gary Brinkley will present his report, followed by future agenda items and routine business.
Thursday’s meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. in the boardroom of Arkadelphia Town Hall.
