On Monday, April 10, 2017 Brother Zerrottie L. Craig left this earthly life to one day be with our Father in the kingdom of heaven. Brother Craig passed away in Houston, TX in his 44th season of life.
Zerrottie was born on July 14, 1972 in Prescott, AR the son of Mr. and Mrs. Rickey and Betty Craig of Sparkman, AR. He was a member of The Church of the Living God Pillar Ground of The Truth Temple #16 located in Vaden, AR where Bishop Roosevelt Pigg serves as Pastor. He worked as a mental health paraprofessional at Theraputic Family Services in Hot Springs, AR. He was a freemason with the Universal Excelsior Lodge #13 in Gum Springs, AR. He also was a proud graduate of Sparkman High School with the class of 1991.
Preceding him in death were his paternal grandparents, Cleophus and Ora Lee Craig; his maternal grandparents, C.V. and Ruby Govan and his younger brother, Derrick Manwell Craig.
Those left to treasure his fond memories include his beloved wife, Cheryl Craig and their children, Jacob (Tequira) Craig and Jasen McDaniel of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his stepson, Justin Crawford of Hot Springs, Arkansas; and five grandchildren of Hot Springs, Arkansas; his parents, Rickey and Betty Craig of Sparkman, Arkansas; one sister, Thomasena (George) McNutt of Sherwood, Arkansas; one brother, Warrick (Miranda) Craig of DuPont, Washington; father and mother in-law, Clifford and Margaret Loveday of Hot Springs, Arkansas; three nieces, two nephews and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins , extended family and friends.
Funeral services are under the direction of Mitchell Funeral Home located at 1809 Caddo St. Arkadelphia, AR 71923.
Visitation will be Friday, April 14 from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m.at Mitchell Funeral Home. Friends and Family Hour will be Friday from 6 p.m.- 7 p.m. at The Church of the Living God Pillar Ground of The Truth Temple #16 located in Vaden, AR where Pastor Roosevelt Pigg will serve as eulogist and Chief Bishop R. T. Turner of Plano, TX will serve as officiant.
The funeral service will be on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at First Missionary Baptist Church, located at 225 Ethel Street in Sparkman, AR 71763, where Rev. Louis A. Craig is Pastor.
