Tyler Shuffield has been brought back to Clark County.
The 26-year-old Gurdon man disappeared on Nov. 28. A note was found in which Shuffield allegedly claimed to have been abducted by three men and forced to take money and items from the Family Dollar. However, authorities believed Shuffield had acted alone.
In late December, Shuffield was spotted in San Angelo, Texas while trying to check into a hotel. Authorities were alerted and arrested him. Shuffield arrived at the Clark County jail and was booked Tuesday morning.
Charges include commercial burglary, breaking and entering, and theft of property.
More details will be released when they become available.
