A local establishment is looking to celebrate International Credit Union Day this Thursday.
Patterson Federal Credit Union will spend the day giving food to visitors who goes through the credit union. Nicole McGough, Vice President of Business Development, advised that the union would provide hot dogs, chips and a drink until they run out.
The service will start at 11 a.m.
“This is our way of saying thank you to our community and letting everyone know we appreciate them,” said Nicole McGough, Vice President of Business Development.
The day is following previous occasions that Patterson has hosted throughout the month, including buying happy hour Sonic drinks on Oct. 4.
McGough also discussed the credit union being community chartered, thus qualifying all residents, workers, churchgoers and students for membership. Services include savings/checking accounts, loans and mobile/online banking.
The union is also running a “Pay It Forward” campaign that donates to local organizations. This will be covered in a future issue.
