Rehnea Bell Ferguson, 80, of Blairsville, Georgia, and previously of Dumas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 14, 2016, at Lazy-R Assisted Living following an extended illness. Mr. Ferguson was born on Nov. 24, 1935, in DeQueen, the son of George Bell Ferguson and Mary Frances Dye. Mr. Ferguson enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. Rehnea was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Alta Sue Butts Ferguson of Arkadelphia, and his daughter, Shawna Jill Ferguson Johnson of Dumas. Mr. Ferguson also owned the Fetch and Go Corporation of Dumas. Rehnea was a Navy Veteran serving in the Korean War.
Surviving Mr. Ferguson are daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Blane Dunahoo of Roswell, Georgia; grandson, Daniel McKinnon of Atlanta, Georgia; two nephews, Cody Cox of Lubbock, Texas, and Michael Cox of San Antonio, Texas; and many other relatives and friends also survive.
Graveside services will be held at Resthaven Cemetery in Arkadelphia on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the Rest Haven Cemetery.
