The Cubs took the first period, outscoring the Badgers 13-12, but the Badgers were able to knot it up in the second period, 22-22.
The Cubs again took a quick lead after three,
37-35, but the Badgers were able to take the lead as the final buzzer sounded, 47-44.
Nathan Carter led the Badgers with 19 points on the night, hitting four of his eight shots from the charity stripe.
Alex Buckley put up 10 points, and Bryant Robinson had eight before being fouled out in the fourth.
Adrian Barrett added six, and Ty Kosters and Emmanuel Cooper both added two.
The Badgers will be back on the court Monday night as they host Lakeside. Tip-off will follow the eighth grade boys and freshman girls games.
