Polly Medlock, kindergarten teacher at Louisa E. Perritt Primary School, prepares to drop a pumpkin on the Pumpkin Pole, an annual event in which South Arkansas Electric Cooperative partners with the school to place a decorated pumpkin on a pole. Each class at the school decorates a pumpkin, and winning pumpkins are selected. Winning classes will be announced later in the week.
