The Arkadelphia Recreation Center will be closed Saturday. The Aquatic Park will be open from 1-5:30 p.m. The sanitation department ran its regular routes on Friday.
Area post offices will close Saturday.
The Central Arkansas Development Council, SCAT transportation, will resume operation Monday at regular business hours.
The Siftings Herald will not publish a paper Monday, but the office will be open for business.
The annual Fourth of July fireworks display at DeGray Lake will begin at 9:30 p.m. at the lawn at DeGray Lake Resort.
The 18-25 minute event is free to the public. It is sponsored by DeGray Lake Resort State Park and Iron Mountain Lodge & Marina. It is recommended that viewers arrive early because choice viewing spots around the lake fill up quickly. Bring your lawn chairs.
