Home for the Holiday demonstration
Tickets may be purchased for a Holiday Food Demonstration and Tasting and Decorating the Holiday Home. $10 per-person, $75 for a table of eight. Tickets available at the Clark County Extension Office. Call 246-2281 for more information.

Arkadelphia Recreation hosts yard sale
The Arkadelphia Recreation Center will host a community yard sale, 7 a.m. until. Call 246-5499 for more information.

Financial workshop offered
A mini-workshop on banking products will be held from 11 a.m. to noon at the Community Family Enrichment Center. The public is invited.

Live animal fair
A Living Gift Fair will be sponsored by the First United Methodist Church from 10 a.m.-noon at the Clark County Fairgrounds. The public is invited.

Sunday, Nov. 9

Sunday Dinner at Gurdon SAC
Gurdon Senior Adult Center will sponsor Sunday Dinner, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.. Dine in or take out, $7 per plate.

Monday, Nov. 10
 
Gospel singing at Arkadelphia Senior Center
Arkadelphia Senior Center will have gospel singing at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited. A donation will be taken at the door. Proceeds will benefit Meals for Seniors. Call 246-9871 for more information.

Perritt Primary School has Family Night
Louisa E. Peritt Primary School will host a family night at 5:30 p.m. All Arkadelphia families are invited to attend.

Boy Scout Troop to meet
Boy Scout Troop 75 meets at 6:30 p.m., Second Baptist Church, 815 S. 12th St., Arkadelphia. Boys 11 to 17 are welcomed to attend. Call 870-246-4371 for more information.

DAR meeting scheduled
The Arkadelphia Chapter of the National Society of the Daugters of the American Revolution will meet at 2 p.m. at the Clark County Museum for the Good Citizen Awards and Tea. Jamie Ward will present the program.

Order of Eastern Star to meet
Universal Evergreen Verbena No. 192 OES, PHA will meet at 6 p.m., Mt. Morriah Baptist Church, 626 Mt. Morriah Road in Joan. All members are asked to attend.

American Legion parade
The American Legion Post 57 will sponsor the American Legion Parade at 4 p.m. Call 245-3559 for more information.

Veterans Day Service in Bismarck
The Bismarck Middle School Student Council will host a Veterans’ Day Service on Doyle Henderson Field. Program begins at 1 p.m. and will include the posting of colors, recognition of local veterans, student essays, and a guest speaker. Veterans and the public are invited.

BHA sponsors book fair
Baptist Health Auxiliary will have a book sale, 10 a.m.-3 p.m., in the lobby by the gift shop at Baptist Health Medical Center.
