A community breakfast will be held in the Masonic Lodge at 602 Carpenter St., 7-10 a.m. Everyone is welcome, admission by donation.

New Edition anniversary
Piney Grove AME church will host the 9th anniversary of the New Edition at 6 p.m. The Rev. G.E. Guinn, pastor. Everyone is invited.

St. Clair Missionary Baptist Church will host its first annual Women’s Conference, 9 a.m.-noon in the Burtsell Community.

Greater Pleasant Hill Baptist Church will celebrate the eighth anniversary of its pastor and his wife, Lewis and Joyce Shepherd, beginning at 10:45 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend

Pastor appreciation
Pastor Appreciation Celebration for Rev. and Sis. Thomas D. Hale and family, 3 p.m. at St. Ruth Baptist Church. St. Mark Baptist Church of Hot Springs, with their pastor, the Rev. D.R. Crossley, will be special guest. Everyone is invited to attend.

St. Mary’s Election Day dinner
St. Mary’s Catholic Church will have its annual Election Day spaghetti dinner at the parish hall,  251 N. 14th St., from 11 a.m.-1p.m. for lunch, 4-7p.m. for supper. Adults $6, children $3, seniors and students $5. Tickets will be available at the door.
