Takia Yvette Williams, 23, of Arkadelphia, died Friday, March 12, 2010, in Arkadelphia.
She was born May 14, 1986, in Hope, daughter of Al and Lois Ann Welch Williams.
She was a 2004 graduate of Gurdon High School and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas, Conway, in 2009.
She was a member of Carrie Street Church of God, Gurdon.
She was preceded in death by her father and her grandfathers, Joe Welch and L. E. Kennel
She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother, Lois Williams; her sister Alia Williams of Arkadelphia; and her grandparents, Hazel Welch of Gurdon and Robbie Williams of Okolona.
The last farewell will be held at noon on Saturday, March 20, in the sanctuary of Third Street Baptist Church, Third and Crawford streets where Rev. Greg Latham is the pastor. Rev. Ivory Curry the pastor of Carrie Street Church of God, will deliver the message.
The committal service and final resting place will be in First Baptist Church Cemetery in Okolona.
The bearers of the casket will be Dedric Jones, Stevie Williams, S. Darnell Williams, Dana Gentry, Keith Smith, Curtis Smith, Marcus Muldrew and Buford Dickens.
Honorary bearers will be Gurdon High School Class of 2004 and UCA Class of 2009.

Jayd-Ann Garland
Jayd-Ann Nickole Zaneece-Mone` Garland, infant daughter of Shanika Bunch and Dominick Garland, died Tuesday, March 16, 2010, in Baptist Health Medical Center, Arkadelphia.
She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather John Dale Wilson.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her parents, Shanika Bunch of Arkadelphia and Dominic Garland of Malvern; grandparents Anika and Zandell Bunch of Arkadelphia; Yolanda Collins of Malvern; Alfreda and Rudolph Garland of Arkadelphia; great-grandparents Sharon Lock of Milwaukee, Wisc., and Linda Bragg of Malvern.
Graveside services will be Friday, March 19, at 10 a.m. in Gum Springs Cemetery. Services provided by Williams Funeral Home. Inc.
