Sunday, Oct. 25

Deputy Robbie Plyler was dispatched to the 400 block of DeGray Road in reference to the theft of an ATV. The complainant later found the four-wheeler in a mud hole, assuming that the perpetrator, in the process of trying to steal the vehicle, got it stuck.

Saturday, Oct. 24

Deputy Keewyone Delaney was dispatched to Callaway Road in reference to a dispute between neighbors. The complainant said his family built a fire so the kids could roast marshmallows, and that a neighbor came over and told them to keep their fire quiet. The complainant told the suspect to leave his family alone and mind his own business. The suspect then apparently began screaming obscenities at the man.

Friday, Oct. 23

Delaney was dispatched to the 100 block of Greenville Road, Gurdon, in reference to a burglary. The perpetrator apparently made entrance through a bathroom window, where Delaney and the complainant found broken glass and dried mud with shoe impressions. Nothing was missing from the residence.
A resident of the 1300 block of South Fork Road, Gurdon, reported that someone went inside his home and stole some keys and photographs.
A Malvern man reported that a Friendship man was trespassing on his hunting lease on Delong Road.

Thursday, Oct. 22

Robert Wayne Hanks Jr., 25, of 1225 Wilson St., was cited for six counts of violation of the Arkansas Hot Check Law.
A resident of the 300 block of West Miller Street, Gurdon, reported that her sister and 15-year-old niece has been calling her repeatedly at home and work, cursing her.
A resident of the 200 block of Callaway Road, Gurdon, reported dogs had been getting into her trash.

Wednesday, Oct. 21

An employee of Camp Winnamocka reported a Hewlett-Packard computer, worth $600, was stolen from her office.

Tuesday, Oct. 20

A resident of the 3500 block of Central Road reported cruelty to animals. She said her dog, a Red Labrador, was killed. Her family looked for the dog after it was discovered it was missing and, on Oct. 18, found it dead in a field. Upon closer inspection, it was found that the dog had been shot. Contact was made with the suspect, who confessed that he shot the dog with a bow, thinking it was a coyote. The complainant party said the dog, being of a rare variety of Labradors, should be replaced with another Red Lab rather than a Black Lab, which the suspect said he would purchase for the family.

Saturday, Oct. 24

Thomas Ray Allen, 39, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for probation revocation.
Lerone M. Tatum, 32, was arrested by Arkadelphia police for third degree domestic battery.

Friday, Oct. 23

Alfredo Cervantes, 32, was arrested by Arkansas State Police for DWI.

Wednesday, Oct. 21

Marquita Nicole Morehead, 26, was arrested for driving with a suspended license.
