New Caney Baptist Church is hosting its annual live Nativity scene Wednesday through Friday, Dec. 15-17. The program will be from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and from 6-9 p.m. on Friday. The church is located at 224 Highway 53 North. A collection of canned goods will be taken for local families in need this holiday season. A donation of two cans per vehicle is suggested, but not required, for entry.
On Tuesday, Dec. 16, Summit Bank will celebrate its annual “Santa on the Summit” from 3-5 p.m. Parents are invited to take their children to Summit Bank at 409 Main St. to have a free photo taken with Santa Claus. He’ll be back on Thursday, Dec. 23,  at the same time.
On Sunday, Dec. 19, Trinity United Methodist Church, 7374 Highway 51 South in the Trinity Community, is hosting a candlelight service beginning at 6 p.m. Everyone is invited.
