LeMay sentenced Monday.

Former Whelen Springs Fire Chief Sam LeMay changed his plea Monday to accusations that he raped a juvenile. The 73-year-old pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 20 years in prison.
LeMay was arrested in October after the victim told authorities of being sexually assaulted "on many occasions" by LeMay, who admitted to the accusations when questioned by investigators with the Clark County Sheriff's Office.
According to court documents, LeMay "stated that he [had] had sexual contact … with the [victim] on an unknown number of occasions, over a period of the past three to four years."
Rape is a Class Y felony. LeMay was subject to 10 to 40 years or life in prison.
He will be eligible for parole in 14 years.
