On May 26, 2009, Joshua Blakely and Clehawna Henderson of Hope welcomed the birth of a baby boy; they named him Jayden Malik Blakely. On Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, Jayden passed at the age of 4, in Hope. Jayden was a 2013 preschool graduate of the Southwest Education Co-Op HIPPY Program. He was preceded in his passing by his father, Joshua Blakely; and his great-grandfather, Ozie Page. Jayden leaves precious memories in the hearts of his mother, Cleshawna N. Henderson of Hope; his grandparents, Gary and Billie Blakely of Rosston, and Anthony and Patrice Henderson of Hope; four aunts, Brittany Blakely of Rosston, Brittany Frierson and Whitney Toney, both of Hope, and Koyona Heard of Junction City, La.; one uncle, Jeremy Blakely of Rosston; his great-grandparents, Zelma Henderson of Junction City, La., Betty J. Hunter of Farmerville, La., Doris Blakely of Rosston, and Ervin Blakely of Prescott. Public visitation will be held at Providence Missionary Baptist Church Full Gospel Ministry in Hope on Saturday from 5–7 p.m. The family will greet and receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m. A celebration of his life will shared with friends on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Providence Missionary Baptist Church Full Gospel Ministry where Bishop Johnny Jones is the Pastor. Superintendent Donald Page of New Life Ministries in Waldo will officiate. Interment will be in New Salem Cemetery, Rosston. Services provided by Williams Funeral Home- Arkadelphia.
