The Ouachita Junior Lady Warriors were unable to overcome the Jessieville Lady Lions Wednesday evening, falling 39-28.
The Lady Lions fell behind 11-5 in the opening quarter, but they rallied in the second, picking up 13 for a 26-18 deficit at the half.
After the break, the Lady Warriors focused on their defense, but they were unable to score a single point while allowing three for a 29-18 hole with six minutes to go.
Both teams put up 10 in the final period as Jessieville secured the win.
Ivy led the Lady Lions with nine points, and Fowler had seven.
Wallace put up six, Ray had three, K. Kuykendall two and Patrick one.
The Lady Warriors were knocked out of the tourney with the loss.
