The Arkadelphia Badgers picked up a 30-point victory Tuesday night over the Pulaski Robinson Senators, allowing the JV team to get plenty of varsity action as the team wrapped up the 81-51 win.

The Badgers dominated the court from the opening whistle, putting up 17 while allowing 11 in the opening quarter.

The Badgers continued to roll in the second, putting up 24 while giving up only 12 to take a 41-23 lead at the half.

After the break, the Badgers put up nearly 30 points on their way to a 68-35 lead with eight minutes to go.

With a lead of over 30 points, the Badgers were able to let the JV squad take the court for much of the final period, which allowed the Senators to outscore the Badgers 16-13 to set the final.

Bryant Robinson led the Badgers with 18 points on the night.

Kris Oliver had 16 points with four assists and four steals.

Jakahari Howell had 15 points, and Mark Brazil had 12 with 11 rebounds.

Keon Lewis had nine points and seven rebounds.

"We shot 57 percent from the field," said head coach Donald Williams. "We had 81 points, and we shot only eight threes and made two of them. We were only 40 percent from the free throw line. We're still leaving a lot of points on the line. We could have easily been over 100 if we had done better at the line. We played well defensively. We shut them down, and that's what we wanted to do."

The Badgers will be back at home Friday night as they play host to the Central Arkansas Christian Mustangs. Tip-off will follow a JV boys game and Varsity girls game.
