The Bismarck Lions struggled in the second and third quarters against the Centerpoint Knights, but despite a huge fourth quarter, the Lions were unable to hold out for the win as they fell 64-50.

The Knights got the lead early, taking a 14-10 edge into the second before stretching that to a 33-19 lead at the half.

After the break, the Lions continued to struggle, putting up only 10 while allowing 19 for a 52-29 Centerpoint lead going into the final stanza of play.

The Lions were able to get things going in the last eight minutes behind Parker Hancock's two treys and Parker Robertson's one. They put up 21 while holding the Knights to 12, but it was not enough to overcome the deficit.

Hayden Ratcliffe led the Lions with 18 points.

Hancock put up nine, all from outside the arc, and Ryan Looper added six.

Ryan Gillespie and Robertson had five each, and Jared Payne put up four.

Daniel Wyatt and Colin Shepherd rounded out the scoring with two and one, respectively.

The Lions will be back in action Friday as they travel to Prescott to face the Curley Wolves. Tip-off will follow the junior girls and senior girls games.
