Ozie Page, 83, of Willisville, passed on Jan. 1, 2014, in Willisville. He was born Dec. 10, 1931, son of Deacon Samuel and Effie Snider Page in Willisville. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church in Willisville and a former employee of Elk Roofing Company. He was preceded in his passing by his parents; his wife, Luella Reed Page; one grandson, Josh Blakely; two great-grandchildren, Tony Hughey Jr., and Crystal A. Roy; one sister, Mary Page; and one brother, John L. Page. He leaves to forever remember his legacy with his children, Lucille Shepherd of Hope, Harrison Dixon Jr., Roxie Ann Hughey, Ollie Dixon, Olen Page, Brenda Parish, Roger Page and Billie Blakely, all of Rosston, Jerdene Mixon of Waldo, Thelma Pearson of Willisville, Gloria Hughey of Stephens; two children he raised as his own, Patricia Rivers and Shirley Young, both of Hope; 31 grandchildren; 66 great-grandchildren; an abundance of great-greatgrandchildren; two sisters, Jessie Fuller and Altha Mae Johnson, both of Dallas, Texas; and three brothers, Girvis Page and Charles Page of Willisville, and Robert Page of Camden. The family will receive friends on Saturday, Jan. 4, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church in Rosston. A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 5, at Harrison Chapel Baptist Church in Rosston, where Rev. Victor Morgan is the pastor. Elder Donald Page, the pastor of New Life COGIC, will deliver the message. Interment will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery in Willisville. Services are provided by Williams Funeral Home- Arkadelphia.
