A deputy responded to a Garner Mountain Road, Amity, residence for a report that a neighbor had allowed her horses to run freely onto other people's property. The complainant
added that a $120 bird feeder had been damaged by one of the horses.
TUESDAY, DEC. 17
A Gin Road, Gurdon, man reported the theft of five copper leads from three welders. The copper products were valued at $800.
WEDNESDAY, DEC. 18
Deputies responded to a Birchfield Road, Amity, residence for a disturbance between a married couple.
THURSDAY, DEC. 19
A Caraway Road woman reported a vicious dog had attacked hers, and that it had been acting aggressively toward her.
A Thaxton Road, Gurdon, woman reported someone had been fraudulently using her debit card. The woman said a total of $678 had was missing from her account, and that she believed the perpetrator had been returning the card after each use.
FRIDAY, DEC. 20
A Highway 184, Amity, man reported someone shot and killed his mastiff in front of his house.
SATURDAY, DEC. 21
Deputies responded to a McDonald Road residence for a woman's report that her daughter had gone missing while searching for the family's pot-bellied pig. A search for the
woman was called off, however, as she had returned to the house unnoticed with a twisted ankle.
A Witherspoon Road man reported a known Texarkana female had called him numerous times accusing him of stealing money from her.
A Red Springs Road, Gurdon, man reported an online buyer of his $6,500 ring defrauded him out of the money. The purchaser,reportedly from New York, had not made the PayPal
payment though the item had already been shipped to the buyer.

Deputies responded to a report of a vicious dog at a Club Drive residence.
An Equine Rescue Road man reported the theft of $1,760 in tools from his property.
A Glenwood man reported the theft of $300 in equipment from his hunting lease on Equine Rescue Road.
