The Goza Badgers could not keep up with the Hope Bobkittens Saturday as they fell 50-21 at Badger Gymnasium.

The Bobkittens doubled up on the Badgers in the opening quarter, outscoring them 12-6 before stretching their lead to 28-12 by the halftime buzzer.

After the break, the Badgers were held to five while Hope added 11 for a 39-17 lead with six minutes to go.

The Badgers could only muster four in the final period as Hope secured the win with 11 points.

Jajuan Gentry led the Badgers with 12 points.

Malik Jones added six, Dillion Scott put up two and Ladarius Govan had one.

The Badgers will be back in action on Jan. 9 as they host the Hot Springs Trojans at 5 p.m.
