The Gurdon Go-Devils picked up a solid win Thursday night as they defeated the Foreman Gators, 61-52.
The Devils dominated the opening period, putting up 22 points while allowing seven, but the Gators made a strong comeback in the second, putting up 22 points of their own while giving up nine for a 31-29 Devil lead at the half.
After the break, the Devils put up 19 while holding the visiting Gators to three points to take a 50-32 lead in the third stanza of play.
Foreman again made a comeback, but the Devils put up 11 while giving up 20 to secure the win.
Elijah Larry led the Devils with 14 points.
Austin Kirkpatrick put up 11, and Adam Cooper and Naja Hawthorne had 10 apiece.
The Devils will be back in action Jan. 7 as they travel to Stamps to face the Lafayette County Cougars.
