The Bismarck Lions were able to win 16 of their 17 matches last Thursday to claim a pair of wins in their opening meet, defeating Lakeside and Hot Springs on the road.

The Lions matched up against Hot Springs, losing one of 10 matches as Braden Gill lost by points to Pollins.

Zach Roberts pinned Lowery, and Gunnar Clampet won by pin over Putnam.

Jackson Helm was able to pin Murry for the win, and Aaron Whitehead pinned Salazar.

Austin Clayton won by pin over Pearce while Robert Martin was able to pin Rosberg.

Shelby Orr pinned Kelly, Cody Burrow won by tech fall over Stevens and Tristin Phillips won by pin over Noles.

The Lions were undefeated against Lakeside, winning all seven of their individual matches.

Nick Stancil won by pin over Carroll, and Clampet pinned Steadman.

Whitehead was able to pin Uzick, and Clayton took down Gray by pin.

Orr and Burrow pinned their opponents to wrap up the competition.

The Lions' next meet will be on the road on Dec. 21 as they travel to the Greenbrier Team Tournament.
