The Bismarck Junior Lady Lions struggled with turnovers, leading to their 28-22 loss Tuesday to the Bauxite Lady Miners on the road.

Bauxite jumped to a big lead in the opening period, leading the Lady Lions 13-4, but Bismarck came back in the second to cut their deficit to seven by holding the home team to two, 15-8.

After the break, the Lady Lions added seven while allowing four to cut the Bauxite lead to four, 19-15.

Bauxite added nine in the final period to secure the win.

The Lady Lions will be back in action next Friday as they host Caddo Hills at 4:30 p.m.
