The Lady Badgers took a 10-9 lead in the opening period, but Warren came back in the second to take a single-point lead at the break, 26-25.

Arkadelphia came out hot in the third period, adding 16 while allowing only nine to take a 41-35 lead into the final eight minutes.

Head coach Lynn Rook was proud of his team's performance.

"Amarya took a huge charge in the fourth period that was a game changer," he said. "The other girl didn't come back in all night; she just shot from the perimeter. Brenna had her best game of the year. We out-rebounded them 33-18, and we hit 21 of 38 from the free throw line for 75 percent."

The Lady Badgers will be back in action next Thursday as they play host to Benton Harmony Grove. Tip-off will follow the JV girls game at 5 p.m.
