    10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
    Jo Ann Diffee will teach the art of Zentangle at the Arkadelphia Art Center. Students need to bring a number 1 Pigma Micron pen, a number 2H drawing pencil and an art eraser. The class is $45 with a $25 deposit due at sign up. Register before Nov. 2, by mailing a check to Jo Ann Diffee Gallery. There is a limit of 12 students. For more information, call 501-304-3202.
    11 a.m.
    The Clark County Historical Association will hold its regular monthly meeting at Western Sizzlin. The program will feature the Ouachita Baptist University Arkansas History students of Dr. Wendy Richter. The students plan to present the results of their research into subjects related to the upper Ouachita River valley. The presentations will touch on all time periods of Clark County history. Everyone is invited.
    11 a.m. - 7 p.m.
    St. Mary's Church will hold its annual spaghetti dinner. Lunch is 11 a.m.-1 p.m.  and dinner is 4-7 p.m.  Spaghetti (with or without meat), salad, bread, drink and dessert are included for dine in or take out. The cost is $3 for children under 10, $6 for senior adults and college students and $7 for adults. The location is North 14th and Haddock streets in Arkadelphia.  Tickets can be purchased from parish members or at the door. There will be items available for silent auction.
     
    4 p.m.
    Compass Healthcare, 2606 Pine St., will host a ribbon cutting. The clinic offers low-cost office visits, medical spa and skin care for those with high deductibles or no insurance.
    6-8 p.m.
    The Clark County Extension Office will host a hands-on workshop demonstrating how to make jerky at home using beef or wild game. The event will be held at the Clark County Fairgrounds EHC Outback Kitchen. There is a $10 fee. Pre-registration is required and class size is limited. Call 246-2281 for information.
    7:30 p.m.
    Ouachita Baptist University Division of Music will host a free concert featuring the Ouachita Wind Ensemble in Jones Performing Arts Center.
