Ms. Ardell Jacqueline Johnson, 79, of Rosston, passed away Jan. 4 at her residence in Rosston.
She was born Oct. 29, 1933, in Rosston, to Willie Gulley and Elnora Simpson-Gulley. She was a faithful member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Rosston where she served as Missionary. She was a public school teacher for 40 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include one son, Kenneth Johnson of Rosston; one brother, Samuel Gulley of Gary, Ind.; one sister, Rosie Marsh of Gary, Ind.; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were Saturday, Jan. 12, at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Rosston with burial following in the New Salem Cemetery in Rosston. Services were under the direction of A.O. Smith Funeral Home in Stamps.
Officiating was the Rev. Ralph Porchia
