Mr. James Larry Carman, 70, of Blevins, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, in Blevins.
Larry was born Nov. 8, 1942, in Prescott, to Dorris Berger and Doris Montgomery Carman.
Mr. Carman was retired from the US Postal Service where he had worked as a letter carrier. He was also a Vietnam veteran and a member of the First Assembly of God Church for 45 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; wife Sandra; and father-in-law Kenneth Harmon.
Larry is survived by two daughters, Michawn Davis and husband, Johnny of Blevins and Heather and husband, Jon Easterling of Hope; one sister, Sharon Waddle and husband Rick of Hot Springs; mother-in-law, Ethel Harmon of Hope; sister-in-law, Vigi and husband Bubba Powers of Hope; and six grandchildren, Elizabeth Davis, Cody Davis, Kelly Davis, Aaron Easterling, Sandra Grace Easterling and Seth Easterling.
Visitation will be Thursday, Jan. 17, 6-8 pm at Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.
Services will be Friday, Jan. 18, at 10 a.m. in the Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Bradley officiating. Interment to follow in Holly Grove Cemetery under the direction of Herndon-Pharr Funeral Home.
