The Arkadelphia Lady Badgers could not get a rhythm going at Central Arkansas Christian as they fell 54-17 to the Lady Mustangs.

The home team jumped to an 18-9 lead in the opening quarter, and the Lady Badgers were held scoreless in the second while the Lady Mustangs added 23 for a 41-9 lead at the break.

After halftime, the Lady Badgers were able to add to their score, but the team was held to three while the Lady Mustangs added 10 for a 51-12 lead going into the final period.

The Lady Badgers were able to win the fourth quarter, adding five while holding the home team to three for the final.

JaCinta Williams led the Lady Badgers with six points on the night, and Brenna Smith put up four.

Angelique Robinson, who led the team earlier in the week with 26 points, did not play due to health concerns. She is expected to return to the court this week.

The Lady Badgers will be back in action Tuesday night as they travel to Bauxite. Tip-off will follow the Junior Varsity girls game.
