Nettie Faye Quillin Bosley, 86, of Arkadelphia, passed away Saturday, Dec. 22, 2012, in an Arkadelphia hospital. She was born July 27, 1926, in Amity, to the late Ernest Ray and Nettie Johnson Quillan. Nettie Faye enjoyed quilting and sitting with the elderly.
She is survived by four sons, James (Dena) Bosley of Friendship, Wayne Bosley of Friendship, Dean (Joanna) Bosley of Arkadelphia, and Billy (Cindy) Bosley of Friendship; and one daughter, Patsy (Phillip) Jackson of Antioch. She is also survived by the father of her children to whom she was married to for 27 years and remained a caring friend to her, Joe Bosley; 15 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and soon to be three great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; one sister; and one granddaughter, Elizabeth Grace Bosley.
Funeral services were held on Monday, Dec. 24, at 2 p.m., at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church with Brother Hollis McDermott and Brother Ronnie Hardin officiating. Visitation was held from 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Dec. 23, at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Gilchrist Cemetery in Friendship.
Pallbearers were Alan Bosley, Dustin Bosley, BJ Bosley, Steven Jackson, Joe Bosley and Austin Shearin.
