Jean Calhoun, 63, died Aug. 26, 2012. He was a member of the Hillside Baptist Church and a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Monticello. Many people in the Camden area knew him for his work in appliance repair.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Shelby and Oleta Irene Scott Calhoun.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Calhoun of Camden; a daughter, Jennifer J. Featherling and husband, Kenneth of Chicago, Ill.; four sons, Scott Alan Cook and wife, Amanda of Bearden, Dale Cook and wife, Lisa of London, Jason Calhoun and wife, Melissa of Columbus, Ohio, and Jody Calhoun and wife, Kenya of East Camden; ten grandchildren; and two brothers, James Calhoun and wife, Linda of Arkadelphia, and Jerry Calhoun and wife, Becky of Star City, AR.
Proctor Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Aug. 29, at the Hillside Baptist church with Neil Wigley officiating.
